COMMISSION SERVICES
TERMS AND SERVICES
Last Updated : March 03, 2026
By availing my services you, as the client, have read and agreed to all the conditions stated on my Terms of Service. Terms of Service are subject to change without prior notice. For more information about workload and commission status, please check my Trello.
GENERAL
By placing a commission, you confirm that you have read and agreed to the Terms and Conditions. Ignoring these terms does not excuse violations, and failure to comply may lead to being permanently blocked from future services.
Commissioned artworks purchased from Amaris Luna is STRICTLY PROHIBITED from use in AI training, AI generation, or NFT projects.
PLEASE DO NOT COPY, REPRODUCE, TRACE, HEAVILY REFERENCE, RESELL, REDISTRIBUTE, OR CLAIM ANY OF MY WORKS AS YOURS.
Credits must be properly given directly to Amaris Luna through Twitter (@imamarisss). I do not use any alternative name such as AL or whatnot. You can also give an emote attribute on Twitch (Amarislunaaa_).
I do not consent to clients having another artist edit or "fix" my artworks unless it is a partnered rigger or for rigging purposes.
I reserve the right to refuse projects or requests based on content, subject or other reasons.
I will not create content that is explicit, offensive or inappropriate. Specific restrictions include but are not limited to mecha, explicit adult content or act of sexual contents, underage characters, excessive muscles, gore, copied styles, and gender identities or cultures of which the artist may not portray authentically.
I may cancel a commission at any time, at which point the commissioner will be issued a full refund. No art piece would be given— however, full refund is guaranteed.
PAYMENTS
STRICTLY NO REFUNDS. All sales are final. Payments made for commissions are strictly non-refundable. Please commission responsibly.
Full payment is required upfront. Once the invoice is issued, please complete payment within 24–48 hours to secure your commission slot. Failure to do so may result in losing your slot, a delayed start date, or cancellation of your commission.
For 50/50 plans, 50% is due upfront and 50% is due before lineart begins which the artist will provide notice beforehand. No work will be made until required payments have been made.
RIGHTS
Every commission includes permission for commercial use on merchandise whether it be digital or physical merch. Clients are allowed to use or share the artwork for personal, promotional, or merchandise purposes, provided they adhere to the Artist’s Terms and Conditions and credit the Artist appropriately.
For clients selling a brand identity that includes my artwork, please contact me first to discuss any changes and transfer of rights.
The artist retains copyright, ownership, redistribution and intellectual property rights which includes but is not limited to display, advertising, printing the work and work in progress on websites, social media, portfolios, public broadcast channels (i.e., twitch) and more.
The artist reserves the right to decline future commission requests at their discretion, particularly if prior interactions were inappropriate, disrespectful, or resulted in an uncomfortable or unprofessional working environment. This policy exists because a positive and respectful environment is important to the artist’s creative process, as emotional strain may affect the quality and enjoyment of the work produced.
COMMISSION DETAILS
To avoid any miscommunication, please provide a clear and complete character reference sheet. This should include an already established character, as character design is not included in the commission.
The reference should clearly show the character’s base colors. Overly rendered illustrations can make it difficult to accurately identify the intended color palette, so flat or minimally shaded references are preferred.
Please note that mood boards or concept-only references are not accepted.
I. Commission Details
First update will be the sketch.
Sketches (for all the clients of the current month) are usually made simultaneously and are sent out for approval on the first week of the month. After approval, the artist will proceed to the next steps (lineart + rendering).
Please note that depending on your placement in queue, your order may be completed anywhere from 5-7 days to 4-6 weeks after the approval of the sketch.
A second update will be sent showing the final look for commission.
Once client has approved the final look of the emotes, files will be prepped for export and delivery.
There may be some delays with the deliver of the files. Please expect them within 24 - 48 hours after approval.
II. Revisions
Unlimited revisions are allowed on the sketching phase. So please communicate all requests on this stage. After lineart, only base color changes are allowed.
Revisions requested after the emote has been done (rendered) will be considered a major revision and will warrant an additional fee depending on the complexity of the revision request.
Please note that excessive revisions may incur additional charges and may delay the progress and delivery of your commission.
III. Deliverables
Final deliverables are provided by the artist using the Vgen platform, Google Drive or similar file transfer tools. Please download all deliverables within 7 days. Items will removed afterwards to save space for new projects (for Google Drive)
Only Live2D model and emotes cut for animation commissions are given .psd files. You may receive deliverables with transparent or plain white/black backgrounds upon request.
NDA
An NDA may be implemented to clarify confidentiality and usage rights for commissioned work. As self-promotion is an essential aspect of operating a freelance art business, any restrictions on the artist’s ability to display or reference completed work will be specified and agreed upon in advance.
Please do not forget to inform the artist of when they are allowed to share the artwork publicly.
I. Partial NDA
This NDA is subject to an additional charge of 30% of the base commission price.
The artist will not post any works in progress (WIPs) or the final artwork on Twitter (the artist’s primary social media account). However, the completed work may still be displayed on the artist’s VGen portfolio.
II. Complete NDA
This NDA is subject to an additional charge of 50% of the base commission price.
The artist will refrain from posting or publicly displaying the final artwork on Twitter or the VGen portfolio. The artwork will be treated as confidential and will not be disclosed unless otherwise permitted by the client.

FAQ
❝ Do you have a waitlist? ❞
The emote waitlist opens 1–2 months before the target month.
There is a 30% non-refundable initial deposit to secure your slot. This will be deducted to the overall price which should be settled before the sketch begins.
❝ What is your turn around time? ❞
Turn around time varies depending on the complexity of your order, workload and your placement in queue! It could be anywhere from 7-14 days to 2 months.
Please expect some occasional delays. I try my best to meet deadlines, however, due to my chronic illness I sometimes may need to work at a slower pace or take rests to recover. I am truly grateful for your patience and understanding!
❝ Do you accept payment plans? ❞
Unfortunately, due to past experiences I have modified the way I accept payment plans. You are required to put a 50% payment upfront and the remaining 50% should be settled before continuing the linework/rendering.
❝ Do you animate emotes? ❞
❝ Can I add more items to my ongoing order? ❞
You are only allowed to add a specific amount of emotes (preferrable no more than 3). This is because additional items will require the artist to extend the time needed to complete the commission and would impact other clients' timeline/commission schedule.
ALSO please let me know about this in advance. I will no longer take additional requests/orders once sketches have been sent for approval.
❝ Can I combine YCH and Custom orders? ❞
This is actually a preferred practice— by combining your orders in one request form you, we would only need one proposal or invoice for the overall order. This helps us avoid any future misunderstanding or confusion.
❝ Can I commission a YCH emote using my mascot? ❞
Unfortunately— some, if not all mascots, have their own unique shapes and body proportions which requires them to be drawn from scratch. This then makes the order a "custom emote" rather than YCH.
